GRADUATE TRAINEE ECONOMIST x 3
CATEGORY 3B SALARY RANGE: $ 29,404 – $ 39,782 Ref. No: 22/07

These positions report to the Managers in the Economics Group. The successful candidate will be required to prepare, analyse, present and interpret accurate, timely and useful information on all sectors of the economy. The successful candidate will also have to ensure that information used to develop economic forecasts and research, advice and analysis on the economy is soundly based and effectively communicated. The successful candidate must possess a degree in Economics, Econometrics, Finance or equivalent qualifications. Candidate must demonstrate key competencies required for the role, including sound research, analytical, report writing, presentation skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision. Other attributes such as attention to detail, being a team player and having good interpersonal and communication skills are also required. Any other training acquired relevant to the job or work experience in a similar role will be an added advantage. Candidates with Post Graduate qualification in Economics or other related discipline are encouraged to apply.
