JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Responsibilities:·
- Design and deliver artwork for all commercial and promotional needs relating to Morris Hedstrom products and services
- Review and develop the layout of newspaper adverts/concepts & execute all other promotion related artwork
- Transform complex statistical data into appealing visual graphics
- Coordinate with marketing team, external agencies, art services, etc
- Produce innovative ideas and concepts to assist with marketing and advertising strategies
- Ability to think creatively and capture professional photographs
- Create graphic presentations that communicate emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions
- Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in graphic design or related field
- Minimum of two to three years’ experience in graphic design
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro and Quark Express applications
- Familiar with the fundamental rules of high/low resolution, dpi, graphic design, photography and typography
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Focused on details and visual composition
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
