Your day to day

The Groups Sales Executive is responsible for providing support within Reactive conversion team to drive conversion and revenue targets for the hotel through group accommodation revenue. Ensure guest service standards are upheld, perform yield and occupancy management to achieve budget, manage group blocks effectively (both from a client perspective as well as accurate system management), communicate with all departments with regards to movement, arrivals and departures of guests and groups whilst being instrumental in the implementation of operational plans to meet the hotel sales and revenue targets, in conjunction with the departmental goals.

Support the Director of Groups Sales in developing the revenue in line with sales strategies, group conversion, business development and overall positioning of the Resort as the premier destination in Fiji.
You will be responsible in making sure that the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa’s group proposals and contracts are handled with professionalism and passion and work collaboratively with the team in achieving the company objectives and the company strategies in the field of event sales.
You will need to have an understanding on market booking trends while also updating resort sales and catering systems.
As a Group Sales Executive you will also be required to work as a team to leverage tactics and strategies in place to maximize resort sales.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in Sales, with focus on Group lead conversion.
able to manage multiple stake holders
Has a creative mind-set and create the best deals for both client and hotel
Takes the responsibility to build true meaningful connections with clients and guests
Able to handle all Groups enquiries at Enquiry handling stage: Qualifying, proposing, following up, contracting, and carrying out site inspections to achieve high levels of conversion.
The ideal candidate must have very good experiences in the convention sales, these combine with very good communication skills in English and you have flexibility, resilience, and sense of responsibility and leadership qualities to your strengths.
