Blue Lagoon Cruises, Fiji’s most iconic multi-day cruise operator is currently seeking a Guest Services Manager for our 32 cabin, 68 passenger, small ship: MV Fiji Princess. Operating 3, 4 and 7-night itineraries from Port Denarau year-round, Blue Lagoon Cruises has been delivering a world class cruise experiences in the beautiful Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands for over 70 years.
This Guest Services Manager role is an exciting leadership role and is responsible for:
Delivering a professional, quality, safe and entertaining cruise for our predominantly international guests.
Ensuring on board food and beverage services exceeds our guests’ expectations.
Excellent housekeeping and turn down services.
Friendly and efficient front desk operations.
In addition to being dynamic, forward thinking, customer focused and having an eye for detail, the successful candidate needs to have:
Experience in leading or supervising a small team or department.
Demonstrate a high level of customer care and/or customers services.
Be able to follow and adhere to a weekly itinerary whilst having excellent communication and organizational skills.
This is a live aboard position on board the cruise ship with the successful applicant reporting directly to the Denarau based General Manager Operations. The position will also have a strong working relationship with the ship’s Master and crew.
This is an exciting position for someone looking to advance their career or someone with the right personality and skills who is currently in a leadership or supervisory role looking to make not only a change in their career, but a lifestyle changes also. A strong remuneration package will be offered commensurate with experience and performance on a rotating roster of 3 weeks on and 1 week off with all weeks paid. Experience in the tourism and/or hospitality industry is preferred, but not essential.
