Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy vehicles to deliver products to customers and project sites.
- Load, transport, and unload goods while ensuring product quality and security.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and obtain customer acknowledgements.
- Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and service schedules.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Form 7 or equivalent qualifications.
- Valid Group 6 or relevant Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver’s Licence.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating heavy commercial vehicles.
- Good knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to handle delivery of documentation and basic record-keeping.
- Physically fit and capable of assisting with loading and unloading when required.
- Strong work ethics, reliability, and punctuality.
- Forklift license will be an advantage.
