Description
Aspen Medical is seeking enthusiastic candidates for the role of Housekeeper. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director Non-clinical to ensure that standards and practices are maintained in the due course of complaints attended immediately and a problem solving with channel of communication under monitoring infection control measures and safe measures under Occupational Health Safety.

Key Outcomes

Ensuring that standard precautions of safety in a health facility are strictly complied
All agreed maintenance schedules are reported to Hospital Services Department within agreed timeframes, and compliant with relevant processes, legislations, and policies
Cleanliness of the facility is maintained in compliance with standard procedures and regulations in a timely manner
The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

Implement quality cleaning in an effective and efficient standard to prevail the beat result in the health environment
Support Outsource Company [Cleaning Service Provider] in managing the standard key areas in the cleanliness.
Responsible for training team to achieve skills and ability for goals and objectives.
Explore opinions to promote interest in providing a healthy environment to the hospital.
Be updated with meetings (Corporate, Infection Control, Housing & OHS)
Ensure handing over of Quarters occupation and vacating feedback to Housing Committee Secretary regarding the officers living in the quarters.
Responsible for monitoring the Housekeeping Team in managing the areas that is to be covering hospital premises.
Provide on update on any maintenance for any quarters to Hospital Services Supervisor for maintenance in the Quarters
Ensure that all inspection and replacement of hand gel and dispenser roll to all public convenience.
Be updated with the schedules for occasional special occasion held as responsible for organizing and handing over after the event.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Tertiary qualifications in Housekeeping Services Management or equivalent
In addition to Form 6 qualification (or equivalent) relevant duties of Housekeeping.
Has High quality of customer services with channel of communication.
Understand the relevant legislations governing terms and conditions of employment, OHS and Infection Control
Knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
Ensure that all standards/practices in infection control manual are in place.
Daily updates for rounds resulting in a timely manner with standardized cleaning chemicals and colour coding.
Ability to work with minimum supervision and with efficient time management skills
Demonstrate ability to handle emergency situations in an effective and professional manner
