Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Housekeeping team to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort across all accommodation, public areas and operational facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest accommodation and public areas to ensure Tropica’s quality standards and guest expectations are consistently achieved.
- Manage linen, laundry and dry-cleaning operations, including par levels, inventory control and coordination with logistics and external service providers.
- Oversee housekeeping inventories, purchasing, budgeting and cost control to support operational efficiency and financial accountability.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, staff training and departmental procedures, while working collaboratively with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory role within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment, with proven experience leading teams and maintaining high standards across guest accommodation and public areas.
- Sound knowledge of housekeeping operations, including linen management, inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, outsourced laundry services and operational logistics.
- Strong commitment to guest satisfaction, service excellence and attention to detail, supported by excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, reliable and hands-on, with a professional presentation, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a commitment to Tropica’s “Small is BIG” value where every detail matters.
