Golden Manufacturers Pte Limited (GML) is a leading manufacturer and exporter of   packaging   materials. An exciting and challenging opportunity now exists for a well-qualified and experienced individual to join Golden Manufacturing Limited as its HR Manager.

The primary responsibilities will include: –

The HR Manager will be responsible for the following:

  1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
  3. Undertaking induction training for new employees.
  4. Undertaking disciplinary and grievance hearings as necessary.
  5. Managing and maintaining personnel files and employee information.
  6. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs and liaise with external bodies as required.
  7. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  8. Maintain employee attendance records according to policy and legal requirements.
  9. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  10. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  11. Nurture positive environment.
  12. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  13. Any other duties assigned by Management

To be considered for this role, you MUST have the following: –

  1. Degree in HRM & Employment Relations.
  2. At least 5 years’ experience in Senior HR Role preferably in Manufacturing Industry
  3. Understanding and practical knowledge of employment laws and employer best practise.
  4. Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
  5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  6. Organised and methodical approach to administration and record keeping.
  7. Self-motivated with ability to prioritise, meeting deadlines and manage changing priorities.
  8. Highly fluent in spoken and written English.
  9. Ability to work under pressure.
