Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the Company’s business objectives.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to management on employee relations, disciplinary matters, performance management, and employment legislation.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.
- Review and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employment contracts to ensure compliance with Fiji’s employment laws.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, job evaluations, and workforce planning activities.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and organizational culture initiatives.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee capability and performance.
- Manage performance appraisal processes and support managers in achieving business goals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory employment requirements and workplace health and safety obligations.
- Prepare HR reports and provide strategic workforce recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Human Resource Management, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Sound knowledge of Fiji’s Employment Relations Act and other relevant employment legislation.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Valid Group 2 driver’s licence will be an advantage.
- Clean Group police record.
Salary
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
