INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT Officer)

Sherani & Co. requires an experienced IT Officer to manage IT Infrastructure, Server Platform & ather IT duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Sherani’s existing IT infrastructure & support of 30 users. Ensure business continuity and ongoing development &  maintenance of Sherani IT System.

Give technical and user support for:
– HP & IBM Servers
– FortiGate Firewall & Equipment
– Microsoft Exchange 2016 (Exchange on-premises/online maintenance and administration)
– piety Microsoft 365 cloud services. e.g., (Teams, OneDrive, Azure ate.
– Active Directory maintenance and administration
– Scripting and automation using tools such as PawerShell
– Windows Server 2012 R2 & 2016, General Maintenance and Network Administration
– Synology NAS system
– ESET security solutions
– Information Security & network analysis
– Papercut Reporting
– Website management via CMS (WordPress)
– Hardware & software troubleshooting
– On-site & Off-site server backups & restoration
– IP CCTV systems management
– LG Aria PABX systems management

Minimum qualification requirements:

• A recognized Degree in Computing Science or Information Systems
• At least a minimum ot 3 years hands an experience mainly on Windows Server Management and Exchange.
• Incumbent to be a skilled and qualified System/Network Administratos with full-time experience in advanced systems & network management & troubleshooting.

Remuneration:

• Salary and other terms and conditions which will be on an individual contract basis which will be discussed with the prospective candidates during the interview.

The Applicant will be required to liaise with external (IT vendors and service providers on all IT related matters. Previous experience of a similar nature is essential.

A valid driving licence would be an advantage.
