JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
The Role

Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking a competent IT Security Engineer who will be part of a dynamic cross-functional team. Their primary role would focus on ensuring cyber/security is maintained and enhanced, monthly reporting packs, vulnerability management and liaising with the Pepper Advantage UK IT teams to ensure IT security related risks are identified and addressed.

Key Responsibilities

Support network security processes such as cloud management, web filtering, email security and network access controls
Ensure vulnerabilities are tracked, and any configuration and patching requirements are managed throughout the infrastructure estate
Review and proactively manage the monthly vulnerability Qualys reports. Plan remediations.
Support a data loss protection scheme working with the Data Governance Manager to classify and protect information for its archival and disposal
Support the management and security of mobile devices and ensure compliance goals are met.
Manage Cyber Essentials requirements
Ensure best security practices are implemented and maintained in Microsoft O365
Maintain and manage the SOC incident ticket system
Provide support to IT team and endpoint users
Support email hygiene systems and email quarantines
Support phishing campaigns and associated reporting
Support external audits and work closely with Infrastructure Manager and Head of IT
Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 4.30 am FJT)

Skills and experience required:

CISSP, CISM or GIAC are highly desirable
Experience in everything Microsoft from M365, Windows and the Cloud (Azure)
Experience with Cloud is desirable
Experience with PKI, IAM and Endpoint Detection and Response
Experience with network access controls and proxy management
Experience with firewalls, web filtering, DLP, email security and web security
Strong communication skills
Experience with network and infrastructure security
Has a robust understanding of regulation and associated legislative policy and the impacts these have on the business and this role
Has a full appreciation of the company policies, procedures and standards for this role
Fully adheres to all policies, manuals, procedures and standards for the role
Actively maintains an on-going awareness of compliance to any direct reports
Awareness of the changes and development in regulation and legislation and the impact these have on the business
