JOINER

Are you a highly skilled and talented Joiner looking for a unique opportunity to work in luxurious private island? Kokomo Private Island in Fiji is looking for a dedicated and experienced Joiner to join our team.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Joiner but are not limited to:

· Execute woodworking and construction projects according to specifications and timelines.

· Repair and maintain wooden structures, furniture, and fixtures throughout the resort.

· Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure a safe and functional environment for guests and staff.

· Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all projects.

· Contribute innovative ideas and solutions for enhancing the resort’s aesthetic appeal.

· Ability to use tools and equipment on the job.

· Mechanical skills are advantageous when working on different jobs and projects.

Qualification:

The successful applicant must possess the following attributes & skills:

· Proven experience as Joiner

· Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials

· Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction

· Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

· Ability to read technical documents and drawings

· Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times

· Has strong communication skills; both verbal and written

· Good understanding of basic math.

· First Aid & Fire Warden Certification is desirable.

· Valid Driving License would be advantage for the role.
