LANDSCAPER – Tropica Island Resort

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Tropica Island Resort, an adult’s only boutique resort located on the island of Malolo in the magnificent Mamanuca Group of islands is seeking to recruit a passionate & enthusiastic Landscaper to join our Landscaping Team on the island.

Requirements

· Completed High School at the least, higher education in similar field an advantage

· 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role at a 4+ star Hotel or Resort

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· In depth knowledge of all Local plants

· Proven experience with planting and creating gardens

· In depth knowledge and experience with irrigation

· Proven experience in the monitoring and maintenance of indoor and outdoor plants

· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

· Ability to work alone or in groups, in all weather conditions;

· Physically fit and in good health

· Ability to handle Landscaping tools, both electric and fuel equipment;

· Following applicable Safety Guidelines and Procedures

· Must be a team-player, willing to collaborate on any and all tasks required for maintaining the highest standards of landscape management and operations.
