We have fantastic opportunities in Housekeeping department for an Laundry Manager.
What is the job?
In this role, you will assist in managing housekeeping and laundry operation, to ensure product quality standards are met while delivering a guest experience, that is unique and brings the brand to life.
You will manage the day to day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and supervise and inspect the work of assigned tasks. You’ll prepare annual department operation budget and financial plans, monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity. Also establish performance and development goals for your team and ensure they are properly trained and have the equipment/tools to carry out their job duties.
What do we need from you
You MUST have a hospitality qualification with at least 5 years proven experience at supervisory and management level, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity and demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels.
You’ll manage a large number of staff in a full-service resort with high volume catering and therefore require strong leadership skills, and the ability to act on behalf of the Executive Housekeeper in her absence as assigned.
