Fiji Airways is looking to recruit a passionate individual who can promote the provision and continuous improvement of effective digital applications and features to meet Fiji Airways’ digital strategic goals set by various departments within Fiji Airways. It also includes limited actual software development. This role will report to the Manager Business Systems and Process Analysis, Digital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure proper project management methodologies are used to successfully implement new digital and online features, change requests, and bug fixes within a defined timeline and budget.
• Work with internal stakeholders to clarify, prioritize, and plan online solution implementations and associated processes, taking into account limited resources, project dependencies, risks and other constraints.
• Continually monitor the effectiveness of the online system and reports issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the ‘Route to Live’ release process is strictly adhered to, including verification and quality assurance testing of changes prior to production updates.
• Complete urgent digital support requests from business stakeholders, such as website content updates, that may be required outside normal business hours, including weekends and public holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology field.
• At least 3 years of IT project management, including waterfall and lean methodologies.
• Experience with web development tools such as ASP.net. JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Airline IT experience is desirable.
