Join NowOur Lounge Hosts are the welcoming face and helping hand for our customers, and work alongside colleagues and contractors to deliver a seamless customer experience. You will be standing at the entrance or service desk within the Lounge, welcoming our Lounge customers, answering queries, or assisting with requests prior to their departure. You’ll be the first point of contact for our Lounge customers during a disrupt, and will get to know our regular customers, building connections and making their visit memorable. Lounge Hosts work as one team across the airport terminals so you could be spending one day at International and another at Domestic or Regional depending on your shift.
Shift Work:
The Lounge Host role is a shift work-based role, and the overall hours can be from 20 to 40 hours per week and vary from 4-hour shifts to 8-hour shifts, including weekends, weekdays, and public holidays. Flexibility to work across the various hours is essential as your earliest start could be 6 am or your latest finish 10 pm, and your hours will be different each day as set on the roster for that week.

In this front-line role you will need to excel under pressure, resolve customer issues with a smile, and bring personality and warmth to the Lounge experience for our customers.

The airport environment is fast paced and dynamic, requiring you to be technically savvy, resilient, and ready for action every day you come to work. You will be highly organised with a good level of communication, decision making skills, and initiative.
Essential Requirements:
Eligible to work permanently in Fiji at the time of applying
Minimum 12 months experience in a customer-facing role (with some experience in travel & tourism, hospitality, or VIP hosting environments preferred)
Compliance with the Air New Zealand Uniform Standards (you will be asked to declare Body Art and we will advise if this complies)
Available for the full range of shift workdays and hours
