MECHANICAL FITTER – CJ Patel Rewa Dairy

JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Fiji Dairy Pte Limited is a leading manufacturer of a range of dairy products including pasteurised milk, UHT milk, powdered milk, butter, yoghurt, fresh and sour cream and various other flavoured dairy products.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and performance-oriented individual for the position of Mechanical Fitter to be based in our Head Office, Cunningham Road, Nabua.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery.
Be able to comprehensively do fault- finding and rectify problems.
Maintain Plant and Machines in a safe working condition and reduce down-time.
Check accuracy and quality of parts, tools or sub-assemblies.
Ensure that contractors are inducted/supervised during service visits where necessary prior to accessing facilities.

Requirements:

A trade certificate or Diploma in Fitting & Machining / equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of work experience preferably in food manufacturing sector.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Self-driven, highly motivated and attention to detail.
