What is the job?

We’re looking for a Night Club Manager to take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions – managing efficient operation of our Night Club to provide exceptional product and service within the brand operating standards. This is a great opportunity to work in an autonomous role, making change and driving the business to achieve operational objectives whilst driving the development of our team, of which you will play an integral part.

 

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

Managing and delegating everyday duties for our team of committed hospitality professionals.
Coordinating the entertainment schedule with the DJ and other staff members, such as security guards or event coordinators.
Ensuring that everything is running smoothly and effectively, from the entertainment to the service to the overall customer experience.
Achieving night club financial targets and sales goals.
Maintaining legal compliance with all club policies and procedures.
Creating and maintaining a positive image for the club.
Overseeing the hiring process for new colleagues to ensure that they meet all requirements.
Responsible for developing and operating the new Night Club at the resort.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management and running of the Club.
Create an exceptional food and beverage experience for guests and ensure that they receive a consistently high standard of service synonymous with the brand.
Provide effective leadership to the beverage team, giving direction, motivating and supporting them to achieve sales objectives.
Assist with recruiting, inducting, managing and developing members of the team, completing regular performance reviews.
Develop and implement appropriate staff training, particularly in the up-sale of products and ensure that all colleagues have completed the appropriate training for their role.
Taking the lead in beverage stock management.
Work with the relevant Managers on maximizing revenue streams with liquor related sales, events and activities.
Work with the F&B Operations Manager to identify and develop value added products and services to enhance the guests experience.

 

What we need from you:

4+ years’ related experience, including management experience.
Experience of operating in a luxury four or five-star food and beverage operation.
High standard of personal presentation.
Meticulous eye for detail and exceptional planning and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with a confident and outgoing personality and an ability to interact with people at all levels.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
Ability to multitask and work in a busy, fast paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to take initiative and a practical approach to problem solving.
Positive and flexible approach to work (Weekend, evening and night time work will be required).
Knowledge of managing budgets and profit margins would be advantageous.
