JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Castaway Island, Fiji managed by Outrigger Hospitality Group is an award-winning, iconic four-star resort in the Mamanuca group of islands. Castaway Island Fiji is 30km from Nadi in the Mamanuca group and easily accessible by helicopter, seaplane and fast catamaran. We are seeking to employ a dynamic, energetic & self-motivated individual to fill the position of Resort Nurse – Reliever.
Key Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day care to guests and employees and responding to emergencies whenever they occur in the resort.
Documents all employee injuries and illnesses and ensure these information is kept in a confidential manner,
Provides first aid and perform other medical interventions to treat individuals who may experience an injury or illness while at the resort.
Advise the Human Resources Manager of any likely problems regarding employee health and welfare.
Actively promotes healthy eating and wellness programs
Assists the Resort Nurse on employee wellness and quarterly employee health check programs
Ensures all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames with a detailed handover
Ensure all clinic inventory par level is maintained and submits purchase requests when necessary for the replenishing of clinics.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Must have a valid Nursing license
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience
Experience in a similar position in a resort establishment would be an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
|s a self-starter, has a drive, and initiative and is highly motivated
Is able ta live and work in an island resort environment.
