Procurement Partner

Fiji Airways is looking to recruit a Procurement Partner who will be responsible for carrying out Tenders, ensures compliance, mitigates risks and provides advice to cross-functional departments. Reporting to the Manager Procurement, this role also provides leadership and relationship management to team members ensuring they work collaboratively and contribute to achieving set accreditation standards and business outcomes in a timely manner while meeting stakeholder expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manages approved Tenders and contracts and communicates outcomes to vendors.
• Carries out supplier performance appraisals in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Partners with departmental representatives to formulate price criteria and evaluation of all procurement activity and Tender outcomes for review and approval while ensuring evaluation criteria is to business standards.
• Applies analytical techniques in the procurement decision making process.
• Manages and administers the Advance Requisition Manager System to ensure continuous system functionality and improvement with focus on efficiency.
• Establishes and improves relationships with business partners to derive business intelligence for improved performance and outcomes.
• Designs, implements and manages the procurement process to successful conclusion.
• Explores and influences alternatives to reach outcomes that will gain acceptance and meeting objectives.
• Identifies, evaluates and executes closure of procurement audit findings ensuring risks are minimised.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Must have a Diploma in Business and/or Finance
• To hold a CIPS Qualification would be an added advantage
• Must have at least 4 years of experience in a procurement role with proven experience in Finance, Accounts Payable and Inventory Management.
