The American Embassy has an immediate opening for the position of Program Management Specialist (Natural Resource Management/Humanitarian Assistance) in the Foreign Assistance section.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical leadership in natural resources management (fisheries) and humanitarian assistance
  • Supporting strategic planning, program and activity design, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Department of State (DoS) assistance programs and projects
  • Overseeing the administration and implementation of DoS assistance projects through various foreign assistance mechanisms
  • Ensuring that USG projects are achieved in accordance with applicable financial, regulatory and timing requirements
  • Serving as a designated U.S. Government representative for the oversight and management of implementing mechanisms and activities
  • Serving as a Grant’s Officer Representative (GOR) and/or Activity Manager
