Datec (Fiji) Pte Limited is a subsidiary of Vodafone Fiji and specialises in the supply & integration of ICT products and services throughout Fiji and the South Pacific region. We are looking for suitably qualified personnel for the following job roles based at our Suva Office. This role will lead the organization’s Project Management Office (PMO) and will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of all IT and business projects across the company. The position ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals while maintaining high standards of governance, compliance, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standardized project management processes, templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting to senior management.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to project teams, promoting efficiency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other project management standards (PRINCE2, PMBOK).
  • Collaborate closely with department heads, clients, and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Support the Finance team in project budgeting, cost tracking, and billing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all project delivery functions.

Requirements

  • Hold a Degree in Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management with proven leadership in managing enterprise-wide portfolios.
  • Certificate in PMP will be an added advantage.
  • Possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Have experience in business process improvement, change management, and innovation.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, or PMBOK will be an advantage.
  • Be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be willing to travel for project coordination and client engagements when required.
