JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
We are a vibrant, international freight forwarder with branches throughout the South Pacific & Australia. We have an immediate opening for a quality Receptionist for our Nadi air freight office.
The successful applicant will:
You will be the first point of contact dealing with a variety of inbound calls.
Identifying and providing appropriate information to callers.
Capture and record details of customers information and enquiries including complaints/feedback.
Attend training sessions to update knowledge as new efficiencies are introduced.
Continuously contribute to the improvement of business standards and performance.
Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required.
Assists in reporting telephone equipment or service complaints and problems.
Following telephone etiquette.
To be fully aware of and adhere of health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures.
Multitasking abilities will always come in handy, because a switchboard operator may be asked to do other jobs as well.
Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone.
Keep records of calls placed and received by all departments and recording the call charges if any
Update directory information on the front office software.
Data Entry
Assist in receipting and balancing and handing over correct amount to Finance
Fair knowledge of quotation of freight both import and exports
