1. VACANCY 28/2022 – RESEARCH OFFICER
The position will provide assistance in undertaking research and information analysis in support of policy development across the organization. The incumbent shall operate under a broad direction to develop and implement strategic policies which are aligned to organization’s business strategic priorities and direction. The position reports to the Senior Research Officer and is based at the TLTB Head Office in Suva.
Key Outcomes
⦁ Comprehensive research and data analysis conducted in the development of new and/or evaluation of existing policies.
⦁ Analysis of TLTB policy options to recommend and develop solutions to critical problems ensured.
⦁ Engagement and collaboration with a range of policy stakeholders established and maintained.
⦁ Provide specialized advice on complex and sensitive policy matters, including advocating for policy positions and driving resolution/ solutions when problems are identified.
⦁ Ensure all research projects completed on time and within budget.
Minimum Qualification and Experience
Degree in Research, Business Studies, Management & Public Administration, Change Managementor any other relatable qualification in the job role with at least 4 years of successful research experience in a similar role. Salary/Employment Condition: Grade 7 of the TLTB salary scale on a 3-year contract.
