Fiji Airways is looking for a responsible Sales Analyst who will effectively support global sales to achieve and maximize the revenue targets of the assigned market to ensure the commercial success of the company.

The successful incumbent will report to the Executive Manager Global Sales and is tasked with collecting and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential routes, markets, business opportunities and Fiji Airways Group performance whilst establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders throughout Fiji Airways network including tourism partners.


  • Conducting competitive analysis, forecasting, and offering insights on how regional sales can generate additional revenue.
  • Develop, manage and enhance new and existing sales databases to support database users in the broader commercial team.
  • Ability to work with various commercial and HQ teams and ensure data accuracy and integrity of in-house database.
  • Educate the Global Sales team about the use of various database and business tools.
  • Develop ad hoc reports for tactical sales needs and presentation development.
  • Manage large datasets (system extracts) to provide better monitoring, reporting and data interpretation to drive insights and support decision making.
  • Develop and generate key performance indicators for the wider Commercial team using the FJ Business Intelligence Platform.
  • Assist in creating business cases to increase sales and liaise with key business partners.
  • Monitor performance of new Global Sales initiatives against business case proposal and recommendations in consultation with EM Global Sales.
  • Provides customized reports for strategic partners and external consultants to meet specific data needs.
  • Oversee budgets and costs for your global sales account and draw out an annual global sales business plan for EM global sales approval in accordance with business strategy.
  • Summarize market intelligence with competitors and continue to inform global sales teams of key industry trends and developments that may impact the commercialization of Fiji Airways.
  • Manage trade incentive contracts and co-marketing opportunities within the agreed parameters of EGM Global Sales.
  • Work with SM Marketing to recommend market campaigns and evaluate and provide pre-market and post-market campaign insights with partners.
  • Work with regional managers and their teams to support regional revenue goals and submit a quarterly or monthly market report on portfolio / channel performance against targets to EM Global Sales.
  • Continue to develop expertise to keep up with the development and trends of sales and distribution channels.
  • As required, any other key projects as directed by EM Global Sales.


  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Information Systems from a recognized University.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Analyst or in a related role.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Airline or Hospitality industry would be an advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, PowerPoint and Information Technology skills.
  • Ability to assess data sets and identify patterns and opportunities for improvement.
  • Good understanding of statistical data analysis principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the willingness to adapt to a new learning environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information, work under tight deadlines and manage workload.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to think both analytically and creatively.
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to work on own initiative and the energy, drive and commitment to deliver high quality results to meet tight timelines.
  • Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders on business processes and performance.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
