Job description
We are recruiting an experienced, sandblaster for our Workshop located at Naranga, Brisbane Queensland.

Some of our frequent work includes mining and industrial equipment, insurance and truck smash repairs, and fleet refinishing.

Your role will include:

Sandblasting industrial machinery and parts
Cleaning the sandblasting booth and keeping tools and equipment maintained
Prepping, sanding and cleaning vehicle/ equipment to be painted
Loading/ unloading booths and transport trucks
Comfortable working at heights

 

To be successful in this role, these qualities are required:

Experienced sandblaster 5 Years Minimum Experience required
Reliable and punctual
Ability to work under pressure
Forklift license is preferred but not required
Truck license is preferred but not required
Own PPE/ tools

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 per hour (Salary range quoted $65,000 – $85,000 is in AUD inclusive of 11% super)

Schedule:

10 hour shift
Monday – Friday
Extra hours available on Saturday/Sunday

 

Experience:

Sandblasting: 5 years (Required)
Licence/Certification:

Full Driver Licence (Required)
Work Authorisation:

Australia (Required)
