JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Pepper Advantage is investing in the build of a credit management platform with the initial view of deploying internally within the Pepper Group but with a view to commercialise the application and sell to other organisations.
We are looking for a Scrum Master who can work with our team to build the platform for both web and mobile. In this role, you will oversee and work across multiple squads. As a Scrum Master, you can work independently with minimal guidance, must be a good communicator and very comfortable running internal sessions independently.
Responsibilities
The Scrum Master’s responsibilities and functions/technical skills include:
Using agile methodology values, principles and practices to plan, manage and deliver solutions
Training, mentoring and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles and practices
Determining and managing tasks, issues, and action items
Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings and decision making processes
Monitoring progress, performance and helping teams to make improvements
Planning and organising demos and product/system testing
Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team
Tracking project processes, deliverables and financials
Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills
3+ years experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant field
Certified Scrum Master, SAFe or Scrum Alliance preferred
Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver solutions
Leadership and management experience
Excellent people and project management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
