- The role requires managing complex, multi-site project portfolios, remote logistics, contractor governance, and regulatory compliance in a demanding island-grid environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years’ progressive experience in the renewable energy / power engineering sector
- Minimum 10 years in a senior project or construction management role with full EPC lifecycle accountability
- Demonstrated experience delivering utility-scale and hybrid solar + BESS + grid projects (multi-MW scale)
- Proven track record across multiple international markets, including experience in remote, island, or off-grid/mini-grid electrical environments
- Direct experience with hybrid inverter platforms, BESS integration, and grid-interactive system design
- Strong technical proficiency in PVSyst, AutoCAD, and MS Project
- Demonstrated experience in technical due diligence, cost control, risk management, and stakeholder management at a senior level
- Experience managing HSE compliance frameworks for solar/electrical construction projects
- Diploma or degree qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience specifically with mini-grid delivery in Pacific Island or similarly remote grid contexts
- Portfolio experience exceeding 200 MW of delivered solar capacity across multiple countries
- Multilingual capability relevant to a diverse project workforce
