SENIOR MANAGER, LEARNING & CAPABILITY
Based in Nadi & reporting the Group Director HR & Training, key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
- Design and drive the learning culture across our 3 main properties through a transformational learning experience.
- Build the strategic capability with immediate business needs and performance.
- Develop and facilitate learning content that meets identified learning outcomes and engages our multi- disciplined workforce
- Work closely with line and property managers to identify business and training needs and implement solutions accordingly
- Develop and mentor our Registered Training Instructors to lead on the job training initiatives in the workplace
- Prepare and deliver our annual Training Plan ensuring training effectiveness is regularly measured
- Translating the business and people learning strategy in an L&D plan that enables business objectives to be realized
- Establish a robust Learning and Capability Framework What are we seeking for:
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality tourism or a customer service environment is strongly preferred
- Accredited ‘Train the Trainer’, having completed ToTs (1-4) & with a Certificate IV in Training will be preferred.
- A good understanding & experience of HR will be advantageous.
- Registered Training Officer under Training Grants Scheme
- Engages & consults successfully to influence results through stakeholders
- Facilitate learning using a customer-centered design thinking approach to learning solution.
- Demonstrated understanding of learner profiles and the ability to effectively train and coach employees in the workplace
- A focus on modern learning and development trends and methods of training including familiarization with digital learning tools
- Able to build strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the company
- Able to work autonomously with a strong organization and administrative skills. Able to draw and develop SOP’s & training manuals.
