JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
We are looking for a creative & motivated Sous Chef to join our team. We are a family owned boutique hotel located in the CBD of Samoa .
Duties Include:
Direct food processing & handling, training new recruits & developing menu options together with management, monitor food production, costs & quality control. You will be responsible for the entire kitchen operation in the absence of the head chef.
The ideal candidate will be self driven, ambitious, hard-working and passionate about the culinary arts. Excellent communication & organization, in depth knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equiptment, adherence to health & safety guidelines & ability to work in a fast paced environment is crucial. Leadership & kitchen management abilities , attention to detail, and is teamwork-oriented is a requirement.
