JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Iceman (Fiji) Pte Limited is a joint venture company between CJ Patel & Co Ltd and Iceman Technologies (Pvt) Ltd Sri Lanka. Iceman represents world renowned brands like Copeland, Geneglace (France), Bitzer (Germany) and Heatcraft (Australia) and primarily deals with installation, assembling, selling and carrying out maintenance on prefabricated cold rooms, ice plants, refrigerated trucks and air conditioners. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced persons for the below positions to be based in Suva.
STOCK CONTROLLER
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stock inventory and coordinate operations, sales and finance departments
- Maintain accurate inventory records both manual and data entry in the system
- Monitor stock levels and place and receive orders to replenish stocks as needed.
- Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (OOS)
- Carry out stocktake, regular inventory audits and reconciliations and ensure stock purchasing is within budget
- Dealing with local suppliers regarding orders, track shipments and, as well as resolving delays
- Coordinate and process internal stock transfers
- Maintain and update shipment records, as well as purchases and pricing reports for Operations Manager.
Key Requirements:
At least two years of work experience in a similar capacity managing stores and inventory preferably in aircon and refrigeration sector. Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel. Should have good organization and prioritization skills and strong attention to detail.
ASSISTANT STOCK CONTROLLER
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Stock Controller with stores and inventory management
- Conduct regular stocktake and inventory audits as planned
- Perform data entry and maintain and verify incoming and outgoing stocks
- Arrange stocks and maintain stores housekeeping
- Issue out stocks and maintain accurate records ensuring timely return upon job completion
Key Requirements:
At least one year of hands-on work experience as storeman. Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel. Should have good organization and prioritization skills and strong attention to detail.
