Job Summary
- Type: full-time
- Location: Suva
- Category: Information Technology
- Closing Date: 2026-07-13
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build internal applications, automation tools, and system integrations that serve the Business Markets team. This includes connecting Salesforce, Oracle Data Warehouse, CVBS billing, and Microsoft 365 via APIs, Power Automate flows, and custom web-based tools.
- Build and maintain live performance dashboards covering revenue, ARPU trends, plan mix, segment analysis, ICT pipeline, BRM/SBRM KPI tracking, and market share. Dashboards must be intuitive, real-time where possible, and accessible to both leadership and field teams
- Leverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Power Automate AI) to accelerate data synthesis, automate reporting, and surface insights from Salesforce, Oracle, and external sources.
- Own Salesforce CRM end-to-end: administration, data integrity, workflow automation, custom report and dashboard builds, user access, and adoption
- Provide the analytical intelligence layer for Business Markets – track enterprise ICT demand shifts, map segment behaviour, and flag strategic risks including emerging threats from new data centre entrants.
- Build financial models, pricing scenarios, and business cases for new products, rate adjustments, plan migrations, and strategic initiatives.
- Support legacy plan migration projects with accurate projection modelling and documented assumptions that can go to the CCO or CFO.
- Liaise with the Data Warehouse team to extract, validate, and deliver KPI figures accurately and on schedule. Ensure reporting cadence aligns with Monthly Business Reviews, CFT cycles, and board timelines.
- Train the Business Markets team on all dashboards, applications, and CRM features developed or managed by this role. Maintain clear documentation for every system, integration, and process. If it was built without documentation, it was not finished
Requirements
- Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Analytics. Certifications in Salesforce development, Power BI, Power Platform, or app development are a strong advantage.
- 3+ years building real, deployed applications is preferrable but equally great grades as recent graduate is acceptable. Experience with low-code/no-code platforms (Power Apps, AppSheet) and scripted solutions (Python, JavaScript, REST APIs). Telco or data-intensive commercial environment experience is preferred.
- Hands-on, daily use of AI tools: Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Power Automate AI. The bar is not familiarity – it is the ability to build workflows and synthesise complex data using these tools in a live commercial environment.
- Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent. Must design multi-layered dashboards that serve executive summaries and operational drill-down views simultaneously. Visual clarity is as important as technical accuracy.
- Practical experience connecting disparate systems via APIs, ETL pipelines, or middleware. Familiarity with Salesforce APIs, Oracle environments, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem is highly valued.
- Strong enough in analysis to know which questions to ask before building the answer. Understands business metrics – MMR, ARPU, churn, plan mix, ICT pipeline – and can connect data outputs back to real commercial outcomes.
- Can translate technical outputs into plain language for diverse audiences – from field sales to the board. Written communication that is direct, structured, and built around the reader’s decision, not the developer’s process.
- Understands how a telco revenue model works. Can read a P&L, interpret an ARPU movement, and understand why a plan migration matters commercially. This is a business role that requires development skills – not a development role that occasionally touches business.
- High-trust access to board-level, pricing, and competitive data. The right person exercises discretion as a default, takes full ownership of deliverables, and operates with minimal supervision. Integrity is non-negotiable.
- The tools and market are moving fast. We need someone who keeps up through genuine curiosity and self-directed learning – not just through scheduled training.
