The Trainee Manager will work closely with the Retail Manager and Assistant Retail Manager, gaining hands-on experience in branch operations, team leadership, customer service, sales growth, inventory management, and business administration. Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the retail branch.
- Assist in maintaining store standards, merchandising, and operational readiness.
- Monitor shop floor activities and support promotional campaigns and branch initiatives.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coach and support team members on product knowledge and customer service.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional workplace behaviour.
- Support achievement of branch sales and productivity targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and customer engagement.
- Help minimize stock loss, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail, customer service, or related experience
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop leadership capabilities.
- Valid Group 2 Driver’s Licence will be an added advantage.
