We have a fantastic opportunity for a Marine and Industrial  Welder  to join our fabrication team based in downtown Auckland, New Zealand

We operate across commercial marine and engineering projects both on and off the delivering projects to the high standards of our customers.

We are looking for strong interpersonal skills, and a practical, flexible and commonsense approach, along with a desire to work within a small and highly experienced team with enthusiasm and energy.

About the role:
In this role you will be part of a growing team of fabricators, who are responsible for a range of activities associated with maintenance, repairs, installations and overhauls both on and offshore.

Key responsibilities include:

• Be able to fabricate/weld to design drawings and instruction
• Oversee the repair quality to warrant all work carried out, conforms to agreed classification requirements
• Be self motivated and a problem solver
• Comply with all requirements of the company Safety, Health & Environmental manual, and company procedures

About you:

• Trade Certificate in relevant fabrication discipline
• 5 years experience minimum
• Able to be based in Auckland with accommodation
• Great skills and knowledge and experience in marine welding preferred
• Excellent communication, speak fluent english and understand spoken and written english
• Fully vaccinated to meet our workplace mandate
