CARPENTER – CJ Patel

Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited is a food manufacturing entity of CJ Patel Group of Companies. We specialize in the production of noodles, extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and are co-manufacturers for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Carpenter to be based in Ba.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate equipment, materials and labour needed to complete large
• Perform a wide variety of skilled (and sometimes complex) carpentry related activities.
• Build or repair any carpentry works in any production line / building or any of the offices as and when required.
• Assist company errands relating to general upkeeping of the factory
• Assist in ongoing projects as and when required

 Qualification, Knowledge, and Skills

• Relevant Tertiary qualification Class 2 or Class 1 Certificate in Carpentry or Trade Certificate in Carpentry
• At least 4 – 6 years of relevant work experience
• A team player and must be able to work with minimum supervision.

A market competitive remuneration will be offered to the successful candidates to commensurate with qualification and experience.
