Auto Electrician (EV Fleet Specialist)

We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive electrical systems, particularly within electric vehicles (EVs). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EV systems, diagnostics, repairs, and electrical components essential for keeping our fleet running smoothly.

Electrical Diagnostics, Repairs, and Maintenance: Perform diagnostics and repairs on electric scooters, including battery management systems, power electronics, and motor controllers to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with Fleet Operations:Work with the fleet team to ensure all scooters are operational, safe, and meet performance standards, resolving technical issues and maintaining the delivery schedule.

Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspect scooters for wear and conduct preventive maintenance like battery checks and motor tests to avoid breakdowns.

Stay Updated on EV Technology: Keep informed on new electric vehicle and solar technologies to enhance fleet performance and sustainability.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in battery systems, wiring, motors, and solar charging systems to restore scooter functionality.

Safety and Performance Compliance: Ensure scooters meet safety and industry standards, and optimize solar charging systems for local conditions. Advanced EV and Solar Technology Use: Apply solar energy and EV technology knowledge to improve fleet efficiency and maintain proper charge cycles. Compliance with Standards and Regulations: Ensure fleet operations comply with EV and solar regulations, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable delivery in Fiji.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in automotive electrical systems, preferably with a focus on EVs.

Strong knowledge of electric vehicle components, including high-voltage battery systems, inverters, and charging systems. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment specific to EV systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A team player with the ability to work independently.
