EVENTS COORDINATOR

This challenging role & exciting position requires a dedicated individual with initiative and self-motivation and a very pro-active attitude. The successful candidate will report directly to the Reservation/Events Manager. The Ideal candidate is expected to have the following qualifications and attributes:

Interested candidates for the above position must have 2-3 years’ experience as Events coordinator in a hotel or resort and must have the following attributes:

• Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism from a recognized academic institution.
• Understand fully hotel amenities, packages and promotions.
• Identify new contracts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximize revenue and build business relationships.
• Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients.
• Produce accurate and timely reports on sales activities and conversions to the Reservations & Events Manager.
• Monitor customer satisfaction regularly and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Arrange and carry out site inspections with existing and potential clients.
• Excellent customer service and written/ verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and administration skills.
• Proficient in Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook and Property Management System- Opera.
• Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
• Flexible with working hours.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned by Reservation / Events Manager.
