About the Position

Key Responsibilities

As part of the intern role, you will be provided with support and exposure to develop your skills to:
•    Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis.
•    Manage end-of-month journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
•    Investigation and resolution of accounting discrepancies, movements, and irregularities.
•    Attending to general ledger reconciliations and maintenance of associated workbooks.
•    Preparation of monthly management accounts for stakeholder packs.
•    Supporting the audit process including preparation of audit workpapers and responding to audit queries.

Key Requirements:

•    Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
•    Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not required.
