ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cruise Reservations Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the reservations department, ensuring that large group bookings for cruises are handled efficiently, accurately, and with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Oversee and ensure a 24-hour turnaround for all requests from overseas tour operators/agents, providing information on tariffs, packages, and other relevant details
• Supervise and manage inbound reservations, ensuring all bookings are processed accurately, on time, and in line with company policies
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of the cruise industry to offer tailored recommendations and solutions to clients based on their preferences and needs
• Address and resolve any issues related to bookings, cancellations, or changes in a professional and efficient manner
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and agents, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
• Monitor booking systems, track trends, and report on key performance metrics to improve the overall booking process

KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Proven experience working in the cruise industry, ideally with prior experience in a reservations management or supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of the cruise industry, including destinations, itineraries, and cruise product offerings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to interact with clients and agents professionally
· Experience using NX Tourplan System or similar Reservation Systems is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Tertiary qualification in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or a related field is desirable
• At least 5 years of experience in a reservations role within the tourism industry
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required
