Branch Accounts Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the financial operations of the MH Branches
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the branch
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision making
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed
• Train and supervise Chief Clerks in MH stores

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Proven work experience in accounting preferably in retail or supermarket environment will be an added advantage. 
• Knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Knowledge and experience with supermarket operations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Well organized with the ability to be flexible based on the needs of the business
• Good organizing and administrative skills
• Able to form strong partnerships across reporting relationships
• High level of analytical and presentation skills
• Willing to display initiative and accept responsibility for decision making
• Ability to work under pressure in emergency situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Driving License
