What is the job?

We are looking for passionate people who are charming, confident and hard-working being our next Driver at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa.

Just like our hotels, no two colleagues are the same. We’re curious about you. How will you inspire the eclectic rhythm in our hotel?

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

• Drive hotel van or designated vehicles for the resort’s errands.
• May drive hotel van or designated vehicles to and from guest destinations in a safe and courteous manner.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with local laws and road rules.
• Perform daily inspection of vehicles; takes necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions; always keep vehicle clean and neat.
• Inform Manager of major problems, complaints, disturbances or any defects on the vehicle. 
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. 
• Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help.

What we expect from you:

• Valid full driver’s license (group 2, 3, 4 & 5) required.
• High School diploma or equivalent, and 2 years guest service and driver experience preferred.   
• Must speak fluent English.  Other languages preferred. 
• Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 25kg.
• Handling objects such as boxes, etc.
• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients and colleagues.
• Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, etc. 
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
