Oceania Gas is the leading manufacturing of industrial, medical and food grade gasses. We are the authorized distributor of BOC gasses, industrial safety and welding products in the South Pacific.

Fitter/ Welder – Based in Lami Production site

Oceania Gas is committed to delivering quality and safety in all our projects. We’re looking for a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team and contribute to the growth of our dynamic company.

Above position will directly report to the Engineering Manager

The ideal candidate must possess the following attributes:

•     Trade Certificate in Fitting/Welding.
•     1 to 2 years of experience in welding and fitting, ideally in the gas or energy industry.
•     Proficiency in welding techniques such as brazing, TIG, MIG, and stick welding.
•     Strong understanding of gas systems and infrastructure.
•     Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the gas industry.
•     Physical fitness to perform manual labor and work in challenging conditions
•     Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
•     Ensure work meets all safety and quality standards.
•     Conduct repairs and maintenance on gas system components.
•     Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
•     Follow company safety protocols and adhere to regulatory requirements.
