Key Responsibilities

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Post job openings and manage the application process.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and assist in the selection process.

On boarding and Orientation:

  • Facilitate the on boarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.
  • Prepare and maintain on boarding materials and documentation.

Employee Records Management:

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.

Employee Relations:

  • Address employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Mediate workplace disputes and support conflict resolution efforts.

Training and Development:

  • Help identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
  • Maintain records of training sessions and employee participation.

Policy Implementation:

  • Assist in developing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and legal regulations.

Benefits Administration:

  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs and answer related questions.
  • Assist with open enrolment periods and benefits communications.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.

Employee Engagement:

  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee morale and engagement.
  • Organize events and activities that promote a positive workplace culture.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably in the retail industry or fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse employee groups.
