The Role:
The successful candidate will be part of the Supply Chain Team and assist the Team in its day-to-day activities to procure raw materials and supply of finished goods to export customers. The role includes sourcing, managing and maintaining adequate supply of raw materials, liaising with suppliers and customers, providing documentation for inward and outward movement of raw materials and finished products.
Duties include:
- Assist in arranging the PM/RM from local vendors following negotiations and contract documentation
- Purchase order creation based on the MRP in consultation with Packing and Processing supervisors
- Verification of Goods Receipts and GR entry in system
- Participation in Vendor audits
- Support in Export order creation and documentation
- Co-ordination with CHA agents for their invoices and reconciliation as per the service received for Imports and Exports
- Co-ordination with Finance for the vendor payments
- Participating in Stocktaking
- Follow up with vendors for the order status
- Take part in cross functional plant teams in quality improvement
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar role. A relevant academic qualification will be an advantage.
- New graduates with a GPA of 3.0 and above will also be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with ability to process data and prepare reports using Excel.
