We are looking for suitably qualified applicants for the following role to join our Island team.
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications.
- 3-5 years of experience in the same field.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and technical documentation.
- Strong understanding of engine diagnostics, fuel systems, and emissions control systems.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex vehicle issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Detail And Team Oriented
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to adapt to island living
