Positions: Sous Chef
Are you a culinary professional with a passion for excellence? Royal Davui Island Resort, Fiji’s best luxury resort in Fiji, is looking for dedicated and experienced chefs to join our team. We have exciting opportunities for a Chef de Partie and a Sous Chef.
Sous Chef
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and present high-end dishes with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.

Assist in menu planning, food costing, and maintaining stock levels.

Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Work closely with the kitchen team to uphold consistency and quality.

Support the Head Chef in training and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications:
-
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.

Culinary certification or equivalent experience.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.

Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
