GRADUATE SOLICITOR – FA & Company

FA & COMPANY, a leading Suva based Law Firm has a vacancy for the position of Graduate Solicitor.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual to join our team. The successful applicant must have completed a law degree from a recognized university and must be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of Fiji. The successful applicant will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

· Must have a high level of Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word/Excel/Outlook;

· Can demonstrate effective organizational and time management skills;

· Must be able to work collaboratively across the firm but also autonomously and under pressure;

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· Have some experience using cloud software; and

· Must have at least a typing speed of 70 words per minute;

Responsibilities:

· Undertake legal research;

· Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, collating case bundles and documentation;

· Type general letters and correspondence to clients;

· Prepare court minutes;

· Assist with hearing preparation; and

· Undertake searches and preparing search reports.
