Our client is on a journey to make the world’s most reliable commercial cooking equipment who are proudly Australian owned design team that supplies to Australia’s largest retailers.  They are unique in their industry in the after-sales support they offer to their clients.  This role is essential in achieving that goal.  This role provides clerical support, accurate and timely business performance reporting and schedules our preventative maintenance.

 Administration officer

 This role will be responsible for:

  • Receiving requests for service and allocating them to the appropriate employee or subcontractor around Australia
  • Reporting on overdue services and following up with the allocated service subcontractor
  • Receiving invoices from subcontractors and allocating to our work order
  • Invoicing completed services to our clients
  • Monthly reporting on services requested, overdue and completed.
  • This role works in conjunction with our Financial Accounts Manager who will provide training and support.

 The key skills and behaviours required for this role include:

  • Strong accounting background with skills in inventory costing and reporting.
  • Quick, accurate and timely entry of accounts payable and receivable, reconciliation and reporting.
  • A confident communicator, comfortable calling our subcontractors, clients and other team members.
  • Impeccable written language skills, able to represent our company well in all written communications.
  • An inherently organised person capable of scheduling work quickly and effectively across a large area.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A highly process oriented person able to not just execute, but to improve our processes and reporting to assist us to grow and improve as an organisation.
