CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER – CARRY CLEAN – Carpenters Shipping

Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & customs agency, freight forwarding and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ an experienced and proactive person for the position of Customer Relations Manager – Carry Clean to be based in Suva.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS MANAGER – CARRY CLEAN

Responsibilities:

• Organize and schedule all necessary resources required to accomplish activities. Coordinates daily operational needs with collection team.
• Plans, distributes, monitors and follow up daily route assignments to ensure customers are serviced per company standards and agreements.
• Manages the end-of-day check-in process, capturing and communicating key service, safety, and equipment issues.
• Supervising a team of customer service staff.
• Sets and monitors productivity, service and safety targets for each route and driver.
• Visit customers and customer sites to evaluate and resolve safety issues, seeking service alternatives where appropriate.
• Train, manage and motivate a team of customer service staff.
• Documents problem fixes and provides instructions to dispatch/service should problems recur.
• Communicates and follows-up on sales opportunities, problems at customer site, container swaps and safety issues reported by drivers.
• Notifies customer service of delivery days for specific areas.
• Ensures set-up errors and missed pickups are reported and resolved.
• Increase brand integrity and awareness by motivating the quality of marketing content and understanding market exposures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 9 years of customer relations management experience relating to customer service/relations, marketing, tourism, commercial environment and other related field.
• Experience in managerial and operational skills.
• Excellent at team management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
