Carpenters Shipping is a well-established shipping & forwarding Agency and heavy transport and logistics business. We are seeking to employ experienced and proactive individuals for the Disbursement Officer position to be based in Suva.
Key Duties:
- Short charges and prepare vessel summary for Principal & miscellaneous vessel.
- Prepare Principal, Navy, Molasses vessel account.
- Prepare listing & freight outstanding for vessel account.
- Reconciliation of vessel accounts, clearance & payment.
- Under study payments.
- Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least form 6 level of education or equivalent.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role would be an advantage, however training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
